I'm getting kind of bored watching HA matches where the monk teams use the Healing Hands/Mark of Protection trick to keep the ghostly hero alive indefinately.

Isn't anyone bringing Well of the Profane (especially for iway pets) to make the ghostly hero gankable?

Consume Corspe > Well of the Profane. You can't expect to get off a Well when most other teams bring CC, which is an instant cast. :\

just res the pet and let it die again, no problem.

hmm, actually, it has no recharge... but maybe the guy who just did that can be walled in and ganked on as well

Rend enchantments combined with an adrenal spike, gale the infuser. Works everytime.

Enchant Removals will work. Order Of Apostasy, Avatar of Grenth, Drain, Rend, etc. it works. Just shutdown the infuser durning the spike with a gale/blackout/whatever.

Its not that hard to get a profane up - people arnt using their brain enough in halls...

There are a number of things you can do to make sure profane goes up

- use glyph of sacrifice (this isnt necessary but it will let you get that corpse 99.9% of the time)
- Gale/Shock/knockdown(hammer) their Corpse Control guy, since teams usually only have one person with CC. (when something dies of course)
- Shutdown their cc... i.e. migraine/choking gas
- Kill their CC guy
thats all i can think of atm

Thats what i usually do when theres 1 min left on the clock, and we havnt been successful at taking down their ghost before then - 'the final play of the match'.

It's more usually less than 1 sec since you either have CC on a me/n with some fast cast or on a nec with bloodstained boots.

So....4 iway pets dead on the altar....and you can CC all of them like that, instantly like you said? Thats impossible

You can get 2 CC off maybe, before a well of profane goes up.

Highly doubtful mate. Ive been playing in about 90% of the our groups in the past month and I can count about 3 times we have lost to a MATH team. Twice was on a relic run map, so no you dont beat us many times. Thanks.

I bet this thread is going to get closed soon. Seriously, IWAY and MATH might deserve some hate, but not so much that every single thread in the HA section turns into a flame war.
